![]() | We found a "walk through fountain" to our liking in the botanical garden. Marston and I had almost walked five miles it seems as we explored the many attractions. As it was getting hotter outside, the garden seemed a likely place to take a few minutes rest. The arches in the fountain are the water, continuously flowing from one place to the next. We saw several people interrupt the flow of the water, only to get wet. If left alone, not a drop falls anywhere other than where it is supposed to go. Amongst the other attractions we viewed were the many shops advertising Chicage in a variety of ways, the stained glass museum, and an eighteen hole miniature golf course. Yes, we played. Marston wishes that he did not. |
